Patriarch Kirill consecrates Uspensky Cathedral in Astana

ASTANA. January 17. KAZINFORM Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has consecrated the Uspensky Cathedral in Astana today.
The Uspensky Cathedral is built in honor of Dormition of the Theotokos. It is the first cathedral, which was built in Central Asia over many decades. The construction of the Uspensky Cathedral was held from 2005, its area covers 900 sq m.
