Patients from Europe and America undergo treatment in cardiology center in Astana

"Despite difficult economic conditions, I can assure you that the cardio surgical sphere is developing quite well in Kazakhstan. We have met with Minister Tamara Duissenova recently and agreed upon the initial form of the strategy how the cardio surgical sphere will be developing in the nearest future. I think that we will find the means and funds to continue successful development of this field in future," Y. Pya said.

According to him, the willingness of foreign cardio surgeons to take part in the master-classes in the cardio center in Astana is the best approval of what they do. "We have grown into a center where foreign colleagues come to learn more. In particular, we have held a master-class for cardio surgeons from Russia and we plan another one for our colleagues from Eastern Europe, Middle East, Turkey and probably China," he added.

Besides, as he informed, patients from foreign countries come to undergo treatment in the cardio center in the capital city. In particular, people from such countries as Canada, America, Germany and Australia undergo treatment in the center.
