Pasta, flour production up in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 113.577 tons of goods have been produced over the past seven months in Astana, Kazinform has learned from the city administration.
10.357 tons of pasta (which is 119% of the analogous period of 2013) and 537 tons of milk and cream (100.4% of the analogous period of 2013) were produced between January and July. In addition, flour producers made 89.990 tons of the product during the 7-month period (79.362 tons produced in analogous period of 2013). Astana baked 11.987 tons of fresh bread as well. Astana residents consumed 570.000 tons of products in 2013 (1.500 tons daily). "Thanks to our domestic production, the city is fully provided with bread, pasta and flour," press release says.
