Passengers of canceled flights entitled to a full refund, Kazakh Ministry
Passengers of the canceled flights from Astana are entitled to a full refund, Kazakh Transport Ministry’s press secretary Zhanzhigit Omarkhan said.
To get their money back the consumers should call the airline or visit their offices at the Astana Airport.
He added the Transport Minister, Marat Karabayev, arrived at the airport to meet the passengers of the canceled and delayed flights as snowstorms batter the city. The crisis centre was set up to tackle the current situation.
He said the airport announced it was returning to normal with planes landing since the night.
As earlier reported, on December 30 the Astana Airport was shut down due to bad weather conditions. Air Astana and FlyArystan air carriers canceled several flights as snowstorms hit the Kazakh capital.
