Participation of Japanese capital in Kazakhstan’s infrastructural projects discussed in Tokyo

Issues regarding realization of the agreements reached within the visit of President N.Nazarbayev to Japan in 2008, in particular, prospects of development of cooperation in finances, investment partnership, participation of the Japanese capital in realization of large infrastructural projects developed in Kazakhstan were discussed at the meeting.

The Japanese politician noted that the visit of the Kazakh President to Japan became an initial stage in strengthening strategic interaction between the two countries. In particular, the Japanese side expressed satisfaction with increase of trade turnover between the states that hit  USD 1 bln upon 2008 results .

The Kazakh Ambassador informed the Japanese politician of the results of Kazakhstan's development and the measures  taken by the Kazakh Government aimed at provision of sustainable economic growth and further development of the national economy.

T. Kawamura appreciated the initiatives of the Kazakh President on adoption of anti-recessionary measures and expressed hope for continuation of the mutually beneficial partnership assuring the Kazakh Diplomat in all-round assistance in  trade-economic cooperation activation.
