What would be the best place for a chic business breakfast meeting? Le 68 Guy Martin. The location is legendary -- on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées -- and the decor, designed by Peter Marino, takes you straight into the beautiful world of Guerlain: luxurious, calming and welcoming. So it has a lovely atmosphere and the presence of a great chef doesn't hurt! (Le 68 Guy Martin, 68 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 )

The best bar for drinks with the PR team? I really love La Dégustation, in Montmartre, for a glass of excellent champagne accompanied by some nice gourmet grocery products or by the cuisine of starred chef Antoine Westermann. It's something different -- a mix of bar, restaurant and gourmet grocery -- and it's really ideal for just having a drink. Monsieur Bleu is another lovely option: it was designed by the architect Joseph Dirand, who was also behind the decor at another hotel in the Collection Oetker: the Apogée Courchevel! (La Dégustation, 93 Rue Lepic, 75018; and Monsieur Bleu, 20 Avenue de New York, 75116), Relaxnews reports. The best place to head out for a low-key drink with an editor? In spite of my efforts not to mention the hotel, I can only recommend Le Bar at the Bristol! It's the ideal place for a comfortable discussion, in a sublime atmosphere that combines classicism and modernity designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, and most importantly, with an excellent cocktail by Maxime Hoerth, our Meilleur Ouvrier de France Barman [winner of the "Best Craftsman in France" competition in the bartender category].

The best store to impress a globetrotting shopaholic? The Les Suites boutique on Rue Pierre Charron! Here it's the very experience of shopping that has been reinvented: designer items carefully selected from the source, customized advice, and especially three beautiful fitting room suites, for more privacy and comfort. I also recommend Rue Jacob, a tiny street but one with great shopping potential thanks to its perennial favorites (Isabel Marant, Jérôme Dreyfuss) and new concept stores (Gab&Jo). (Les Suites, 47 rue Pierre Charron, 75008; Gab&Jo, 28 Rue Jacob, 75006 Paris) The best place for a dinner date with an off-duty model? Jin, at the bar. For the heavenly (and low-calorie!) cuisine of Takuya Watanabe, who earned this little restaurant a [Michelin] star, and for the impressive show of seeing the dishes prepared by the chef. A great experience. (Jin, 6 Rue de la Sourdière, 75001 Paris)
