Palace named after Olympic champ Alexander Vinokurov to be built in N Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A sports palace named after renowned Kazakhstani cyclist and Olympic champion Alexander Vinokurov (a.k.a.Vino) is set to be built in Petropavlovsk, in the heart of northern Kazakhstan, Vesti.kz. web portal says.
Local authorities have announced their plans to erect the palace and are looking for prime contractor. Nearly 2 billion tenge will be spent on construction works. The Vinokurov palace is set to be constructed along the city's major motorway in Zhas Orken micro district.
