Pakistan MP to visit Kazakhstan in 2014
"The parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation including various aspects of political, economic and trade relations, as well as collaboration in a multilateral format. The two sides spoke about the exchange of visits between the leadership of the two countries, the next meeting of the Kazakh-Pakistani intergovernmental commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation, and other issues", the press release issued by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan reads. Kazakh ambassador briefed Mr. S.Sadiq on the main provisions of the Kazakh President's address "Kazakhstan's way -2050: common goal, common interests, common future" and handed him a booklet containing the text of the document. Consideration was given to Pakistan's accession to the Charter of the OIC food security, the creation of which was initiated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev. "The speaker of the lower house of the Parliament of Pakistan has expressed a desire to visit Kazakhstan on an official visit in 2014", the press release says.
