In a Friday post on the X platform, the prime minister wrote that Pakistan has been engaged in “intense mediation efforts” between the two sides and warned against what he called an “incessant misinformation campaign” aimed at undermining the negotiations.
“Setting aside the noise, we can confirm that a final, agreed upon text of the peace deal has been reached and Pakistan is now working closely with both sides to finalize the next steps,” Shehbaz Sharif wrote.
The statement concerns the United States and Iran, with Pakistan serving as a key intermediary in drafting and aligning the final text. According to the prime minister, the process has now entered the implementation phase, with further coordination underway to determine the next steps.
