PACE delegation arrived in Astana to gather information on 1930s' Famine

"Kazakhstan supports European values as freedom of word, supremacy of law and others", Z. Karibzhanov noted in the course of the meeting. Every year Kazakhstan submits reports on human rights observance and development of democratic institutes. Kazakhstan is an active participants of the PACE sessions. Alongside as the Majilis Vice Speaker stressed, Kazakhstan adhered to the principle "Economy comes first, then policy" voiced by President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"Life proved rightness of the policy based on this principle", Karibzhanov said.
In turn, M. Cavusoglu said PACE welcomed Kazakhstan's steps towards further economic development.
The foreign delegation arrived in Kazakhstan to gather data on Holodomor of the 30s. Their report will be based on the materials provided by historians and scientists. Similar reports were prepared in Ukraine and Belarus.
