Over USD 100 bln of direct foreign investments attracted to Kazakh economy: President

"The main Law is a basis of the legal framework that regulates the economy of the country. Kazakhstan was the first CIS state to conduct tax and pension reforms that hadn't had an analogue on the post-soviet space", N. Nazarbayev said.

The Head of State noted that over USD 100 bln of direct foreign investments had been attracted to the economy of Kazakhstan. The Kazakh economy has grown twofold over the first seven years of the 21st century. Industrial output increased twofold, while agricultural output rose 1.5 times. Per capita GDP increased from USD 700 to USD 8 thousand in15 years.
