ALMATY. May 26. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ Within the years of independence the country has attracted more than USD 130 bln of investments.
First Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Albert Rau has announced at a roundtable titled "Foreign investments in Kazakhstan: experience, tasks and prospects."
"Within the state program of forced industrial innovative development over 150 enterprises were created in the country. More than 200 ventures and infrastructure projects will be launched till the end of the year. Kazakhstan with its favorable geographic position has logistic advantages over the Central Asian countries," the Vice Minister noted.
According to him, 10 percent out of over USD 130 bln of investments were directed to the processing industry.
