Over past 10 years the number of culture centers in Kazakhstan increased twofold

ASTANA. February 2. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Over the past 10 years the number of culture centers in Kazakhstan has increased twofold. Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information Darkhan Mynbay has told a board meeting.
"Thanks to full support of the President, there is formed the infrastructure of the cultural sphere. 40 national and more than 8 thousand regional organizations are functioning in the system of public institutions of culture and art," D.Mynbay said.
According to the Minister, over the past 10 years the number of theatres increased by 0 percent, the number of cinemas - by 40 percent, the number of museums - by 30 percent, the number of libraries - by 15 percent.
To increase the media presence in the Internet there is rendered support on introduction of hybrid technology, which link traditional print and digital media.
