Over KZT 60 bn allocated for sowing campaign in Kazakhstan – KazAgro

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Main grain regions of Kazakhstan have begun sowing campaign, while southern regions continue spring field work. For this purpose "KazAgro" Holding plans to allocate KZT 61.2 billion from all sources of financing, of which 40 billion tenge is a budget loan, according the website of the Prime Minister.
According to experts, the funds will allow to carry out agricultural activities on the area of 6.2 million hectares.
According to the holding, KazAgro received more than three thousand applications for funding to the total amount of 28.9 billion tenge so far. About 2.5 thousand applications have already been approved. More than 1.6 thousand applications totaling about 14.5 billion tenge have been financed.
The largest number of applications was received from Kostanay region (962 applications), Akmola region (694), South Kazakhstan region (616), North Kazakhstan region (357) and Pavlodar region (144).
