Over KZT 200 bln invested into domestic production: K.Kelimbetov

KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "The rate of Kazakhstan's share in the procurements conducted by the national companies makes 63% and will be increased by 70% by the end of the year", Chairman of the Board of "Samruk Kazyna" National Welfare Fund Kairat Kelimbetov has said today at the telephone conference in the Kazakh Government.

"As of early August we signed contacts of purchases to the amount of over KZT 1 trln, including the contacts with national companies to the amount of KZT 993.6 bln. The contractual payment is up to KZT 411.9 bln. In whole, over 80% of all contacts on purchases were signed with domestic suppliers. We established single register of suppliers of the Fund's companies, consisting of over 3 thousand organizations", K.Kelimbetov said.

He stressed that all sectoral programs on increase of the Kazakh content are placed on the Fund's web site in order to provide transparency of purchases. Interactive map on monitoring of the Kazakh content was developed as well. The Fund elaborated the Program on increase of the Kazakh content in the Fund's procurements for 2009-2010 and submitted it for consideration of the Kazakh Government.
