Over KZT 169 bln invested in housing construction in H1 2012

ASTANA. August 6. KAZINFORM Investments to the housing construction in Kazakhstan made 169.1 billion tenge over the first half of 2012, the press service of the Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities reported.

KZT 169.1 bln was invested in housing construction from all sources of financing in January-June 2012. This is 93.3% against the corresponding period of the last year, the Agency informs.

Thereat, 3037.1 thousand sq m of housing was put into service. This is 114.3% against the corresponding period of 2011.

In the context of the regions, housing investments reached 4.2 billion tenge in Akmola region, 39.5 billion tenge in Almaty region, 15.1 billion tenge in Atyrau region, 3.3 billion tenge in Zhambyl region, 5 billion tenge in West Kazakhstan region, 6 billion tenge in Kostanay region, 4 billion tenge in Kyzylorda region, 9.1 billion tenge in Mangystau region, 1.6 billion tenge in North Kazakhstan region and 5 billion tenge in East Kazakhstan region.

Besides, 29 billion tenge was invested in housing construction in Almaty, 11.2 billion tenge in Aktobe region, 8.2 billion tenge in Karaganda region, 18.4 billion tenge in Astana, 2.7 billion tenge in Pavlodar region and 5.7 billion tenge in South Kazakhstan region.

Besides, 1541.4 thousand sq m of individual housing was built in the country at the expense of population funds. This is 50.7% of the total amount of housing commissioned in the country, Kazinform has learnt from Pm.kz.
