Over 300 enterprises denied emissions permits last year - Kazakh Environment Ministry

ASTANA. January 1. KAZINFORM Last year, the Ministry of Environmental Protection carried out 7000 inspections of business enterprises, Minister of Environmental Protection Nurlan Kapparov said during an extended board meeting of his ministry on Friday.
As Kapparov noted, the Ministry on an ongoing basis takes measures to issue permits for emissions into the environment. According to him, the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control received 1,646 applications for permits. 1128 permits were issued. 338 subsoil users were denied a permit.
