Over 25 pressmen nabbed in protest action in Belarus

MINSK. July 7. KAZINFORM More than 25 reporters were detained in Belarus on July 6 during the protest action "Revolution through social networks" that was held in many Belarussian cities. These data were made public by the Belarussian Association of Journalists; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
According to the association, reporters were detained in Minsk, Brest, Grodno, Mogilev, Bobruisk and Novopolotsk. Detainees included both Belarussian and foreign pressmen.
Plain-clothed men nabbed reporters in the Belarussian capital. They ignored either editorial office ID cards, or accreditation cards. On the other hand, they brazenly disregarded law and used crude physical force; Kazinform cites Itar-Tass.
