Over 230 thousand children embraced with pre-school education

The number of pre-school education institutions increased by more than 3500. These are 831 kindergartens and 2697 mini centers. It allowed to embrace additionally 230 thousand children with pre-school education, the Ministry informed.

Thereat, the embracement of 3-6-years old children increased twofold. The total embracement of 1-6-years old children reached 50% and exceeded the worldwide average level of 41%.   

Electronic public service "Registration of children for kindergarten admission" was developed in order to ensure affordability and transparency of allocation of seats in pre-school education institutions which is rendered online and in the Public Service Centers.

Besides, per capita financing with the placement of public order in pre-school education institutions regardless of the type of ownership is another systemic factor for provision of places in pre-school education institutions.
