Over 2,600 mass media successfully develop in Kazakhstan - President

ASTANA. August 27. KAZINFORM Over 2,600 mass media and over 18,000 NGOs are successfully developing in Kazakhstan. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced it at the international scientific-practical conference devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Kazakh Constitution on Friday in Astana.
As the Head of the State emphasized, our newspapers and magazines are published in 11 languages, theatres perform in 6 languages, including English, Azerbaijani, German, Korean, Ukrainian, Uyghur, Uzbek, Dungan, Tatar.
"All of them are fully financed by the state. Such experience occurs nowhere in the world. It is the state's goodwill. It is a care of the multiethnic nation, its languages and cultural needs", N.Nazarbayev said.
As the Kazakh President noted the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan is an important constitutional authority. This year it marks the 15th anniversary and its successful experience is widely studied in the world.
