Over 140 thousand smoking kids aged 13-15 in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 15. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ The signs of tobacco addiction are obvious in Kazakhstan. Executive Director of National Coalition "For Smoke Free Kazakhstan" Dzhamilya Sadykova has informed of it today during so named Round Table; Kazinform reports.
Everyday tobacco kills over 70 Kazakhstan people. The number of smoking people in the country has increased from 22.6 per cent up to 30 per cent during last four years. According to her there are over 140 thousand smoking children aged 13-15 in Kazakhstan
National Coalition "For Smoke Free Kazakhstan" calls society to close cooperation and expand of partnership against smoking. The coalition covers over 42 thousand individuals and 720 legal entities up to the present moment.
"Zhas Otan" YW and Youth Majilis responded the call of the Coalition in Astana followed by signing of Memo on joining efforts against smoking in Kazakhstan.
25 organizations took part in the Round Table.
