Over 1.3 mln Kazakhstani tourists visited Uzbekistan in 2024

Above 7.3 million foreign tourists traveled to Uzbekistan in January-November this year that is 18.8% more compared to the same period of the previous year, a Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
By country, 2.1 million tourists from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan each visited Uzbekistan this year. Kazakhstan ranks third with 1.3 million tourists.
Uzbekistan attracted 108,000 travelers from Turkiye, 63,400 from India, and 39,100 from South Korea.
As earlier reported, the first-ever tour through Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan by train is set to kick off on November 16.
For the past nine months some 1.7 million tourists, including 507,000 international travelers, visited the city of Almaty.
