Over 1 million trials conducted in 2014 - Supreme Court of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The courts of Kazakhstan conducted over 1 million 200 thousand trials in 2014, Chairman of the Supervisory Judicial Board for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court Akyltai Kassimov said at the enlarged sitting of judges of the Supreme Court dedicated to prevention of corruption in judicial bodies within the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025.
"In total, the courts of Kazakhstan conducted 1 million 200 thousand trials in 2014," A. Kassimov said. Besides, according to him, the number of complaints about the work of courts and judges reduced by 5% or 253 cases in 2014.
