Over 1, 800 kindergartens and mini centers built in Kazakhstan in 2010

ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Over 1,800 kindergartens and mini l centers were built in Kazakhstan last year, Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev said while making a report on 2010 budget performance in the Majilis today.
"In 2010 the number of pre-school institutions increased by 1, 878. 344 out of them are kindergartens and 1, 534 are mini centers. Due to government order 90, 000 places in kindergartens were opened", he said.
According to Zhamishev, KZT 19.2 bln was allocated from the national budget under Balapan program in 2010. KZT 10.6 bln was spent for the kindergartens construction and KZT 8.5 bln was provided for the placement of government order in the kindergartens.
