Over 1,500 homes flooded in Russia's Orenburg region

MOSCOW. April 11. KAZINFORM Heavy rains have flooded 1,550 homes in Russia's Orenburg region, a spokesman for the Volga region emergencies centre told Itar-Tass on Sunday; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
According to the spokesman, homes of more than 4,000 people have been flooded in three settlements of the Orenburg region.
A total of 20 people have been provided with temporary housing in safer places. "The rains have stopped as of now, rescuers and housing sector workers are working in the flood-hit areas," the spokesman added.
