Our country succeeded in building own model of interethnic consent - Kazakh Senate Speaker

KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "Through its practical deeds Kazakhstan demonstrates that the consent between peoples and religions is achievable", Chairman of the Senate of Kazakh Parliament, head of the secretariat of religious congress Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said at the III Congress of Religions' Leaders in the Astana Palace of Peace and Accord today.
"Religious and public figures who have gathered here today are united by a grand conception to hold an open dialog between cultures and religions. Our purpose is clear but at the same complicated - building of a more safe and stable world", K. Tokayev noted.
"Due to the policy of President Nursultan Nazarbayev our country succeeded in building its own model of peaceful coexistence of different ethnoses and confessions", the head of the secretariat said.
