OSCE PA to start its work in Vienna

VIENNA. February 23. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) will start its work in the Hofburg Palace on February 24-25. The OSCE PA is one of the most important annual events of this international structure; the press service of the OSCE in Vienna reports.
More than 250 parliamentarians from 55 countries of the world will partake in the sessions of the Assembly. They will discuss prospects of the situation development in the Mediterranean region in the light of the internal political transformations in the countries of the Middle East, first of all, Tunisia and Egypt.
The agenda includes consideration of the current situation in Kyrgyzstan, discussion of ways of the consolidated anti-trafficking in human beings in the OSCE region as well as ensuring human rights.
A Kazakh delegation will be headed by Vice President of the OSCE PA, Chairman of the Senate Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. President of Austria Heinz Fischer will attend the event as a speaker.
