OSCE PA Schairman J. Soares named Honorary Professor of Public Administration Academy

sp;ASTANA. November 11. KAZINFORM /Arnur Rakhymbekov/ Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Joao Soares was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Public Administration Academy of the Kazakh President, Kazinform has learnt from Rector of the Academy Aryn Orsariyev. J. Soares, who is on a visit in Kazakhstan, met with the teaching staff of the institution and gave a lecture.
In his speech J. Soares said that was not his first visit to Astana. According to him "Astana impresses him greatly". In July 2008 J. Soares was elected Chairman of the OSCE PA at its annual session held for first time in Astana.
Besides, J. Soares said he maintained warm relations with Kazakh Senate Chairman Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and highly appreciated professionalism of staff of the Kazakhstan Secretariat to the OSCE headquarters.
