OSCE - ideal platform for development of int'l cooperation between USA and Central Asia

VIENNA. July 2. KAIZNFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ We believe that the OSCE is an ideal platform for development of international cooperation with our partners in Russia, Central Asia and Afghanistan. It is truly called on to ensure our and global security. U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano said it in Vienna on Friday.
The issues of realization of significant potential of the OSCE in the sphere of countering such challenges and threats as terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, arms smuggling, human trafficking and cyber crime gain special importance,' she noted.
In this regard, J. Napolitano also drew the attention of the representatives of the 56 member states of the OSCE to priority of the USA to activate the cooperation with Central Asian countries in the framework of the key dimensions. First of all, it is global security.
