Oscars 2025: Full list of winners and biggest highlights

Honoring the finest achievements in the film industry, the 97th Academy Awards took place in Los Angeles. Hosted for the first time by Conan O’Brien, the ceremony wrapped up the 2025 awards season with both surprises and history-making moments, Kazinform News Agency reports.

With five Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director (Sean Baker), and Best Actress (Mikey Madison), Anora came out as the top contestant. The film secured victories in both Best Editing and Best Original Screenplay, securing its status as the most celebrated film of the evening.

Adrien Brody received his second Oscar for The Brutalist 22 years after his first win. The film also took honors for Best Original Score and Best Cinematography.

Latvia celebrated a historic first Oscar triumph after Flow won Best Animated Feature, topping competitors including Wallace & Gromit: The Wildest Revenge and Inside Out 2. Another major international win came for Brazil, as Best International Feature went to I'm Still Here.

Zoe Saldana won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Pérez, and Kieran Culkin won Best Supporting Actor for his part in A Real Pain. Dune: Part Two won Best Sound and Best Visual Effects in technical categories.
