Opera and ballet studios opened for children in “Astana Opera”

"The age of children willing to try their hand at ballet is 8-10 years, the age for opera studio applicants is 6-15 years; and in children's choir, orchestra and instrumental ensembles - 10-16 years. Priority is given to bright abilities for music and musical education", it is reported in the message.

The opera studio of "Astana Opera" theatre prepares performers of children's choir and chamber orchestra.

"An important issue of stage performances for a young artist is to overcome the stage fright, to unlock creativity and to have body mobility. So participants of the opera studio complete training at drama school", noted the managed of children's studio of "Astana Opera" Academy Maya Beknazar. In spite of the fact that it is additional education, attendees of the studio complete training which allows corresponding to professional level of artists. It's worth noting that the schedule of children will be rich; the children's choir and instrumental musicians are going to participate in opera performances and concerts of "Astana Opera" theatre together with adult artists; participation in independent children's performances is also provided. Applications are accepted through February 21 of the current year on the website astanaopera.kz.
