One third of Kazakhstan GDP growth in 2010 ensured by Samruk-Kazyna - K. Kelimbetov

ASTANA. January 24. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ One third of the GDP growth of Kazakhstan in 2010 was ensured by the group of companies of the National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna. The Head of the Fund Kairat Kelimbetov said it at the press conference in Astana.
'The National Welfare Fund ensures the maximum contribution of state companies to economic growth. The GDP growth in figures is 7 percent by estimates of our statistics bodies. According to our estimates one third of it was ensured by the companies of the Fund', K. Kelimbetov said.
According to him the Fund was a major creditor of the banking system and a provider of job positions.
