One policeman dies, 25 injured in Tajikistan terrorist attack

DUSHANBE. September 3. KAZINFORM The terrorist attack in the Tajik city of Khujand killed one police officer and injured 25 people, according to the updated information reported by Chief of the Tajik Interior Ministry's Staff Takhir Normatov to Itar-Tass; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
As was established in the examination of the GAZ-24 car, which was blown up at the police building, several suicide bombers, but not only one as was supposed earlier, were in the car, the official said.
Supposedly, members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan committed the attack, he said.
The car was blown up at the building of the regional police department combating organised crime.
