Olga Novikova snatches gold in ski orienteering competition

TALDYKORGAN. February 2. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duissenova/ Today at the 7th Asian Games Kazakh athlete Olga Novikova has claimed the first place in women's ski orienteering competition.
She clocked 31 minutes 11 seconds.
Yevgeniya Kuzmina, Kazakhstan, was 3 minutes behind her teammate. The bronze medal went to China's Liu Xiaoting.
The competition was held at the ski-biathlon stadium at the Soldiers' gorge near Almaty.
