Old man makes false report of bomb threat in Karaganda

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Sunday in the city of Karaganda an unknown made a false report of a bomb in the building of the railway station, said the head of the Department of the State Language and Information under the regional Internal Affairs Department Bakytzhan Kudiyarov.
"Following a bomb threat people have been evacuated from the building. After the thorough search operations police could not find a bomb," said B. Kudiyarov. During operational search actions the perpetrator, aged 52, has been established and detained. Criminal case according to Kazakhstan Criminal Code Art. 242 was opened upon obviously false report on the act of terrorism. The course of investigation is taken on special control.
