CPC puts out SPM-3 for scheduled preventive maintenance
On 29 July 2024, oil loading started via SPM-2 at CPC Marine Terminal, Kazinform News Agency learned from the company's official website.

"On 24 July 2024, the unit was put back into operation after the scheduled preventive maintenance. Before being loaded, the tanker was engaged in taking water used for hydro testing from SPM-2 loading lines.
On 28 July 2024, CPC proceeded to preparation of scheduled preventive maintenance on SPM-3: the subsea pipeline end manifold (PLEM) was closed and the SPM was taken out of service. On 29 July, the SPM was flushed with the help of a tanker later moored for loading at SPM-1. It should be noted that 27 hoses (12 subsea and 15 floating ones) are to be replaced on SPM-3. This operation will take approximately 60 days, weather permitting," the company informs in a press-release.
