Oil and Gas Ministry, KAZENERGY and Trade Unions Federation sign agr't on regulation of labor relations in oil and gas industry

ASTANA. November 26. KAZINFORM - At today's meeting of the coordinating council for the development of human capital Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan Abilgazy Kussainov, Vice Minister of Oil and Gas Magzum Myrzagaliyev and CEO of KAZENERGY Association Asset Magauov signed a tripartite agreement for 2014-2016 on regulation of labor relations in oil and gas companies, the web-site of the Prime Minister reports.
As noted by Kussainov, the document is aimed at the use of the industry ratio in the oil and gas industry in relation to wages, workplace safety, working time not more than 40 hours a week.
According to him, the agreement is the basic document for the preparation of collective agreements in oil and gas enterprises, an effective mechanism for maintaining social stability in the companies, establishing minimum wage guarantees and indemnities, etc.
