OIC accession to CICA as observer to be logical step - OSCE Chairman-in-Office

HANBE. May 18. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ Taking into account views on the issues of strengthening security and confidence-building measures in Asia, the OIC accession to the CICA as observer will be a logical step.
OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakh Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev said it at the 37th Session of the Council of the OIC Foreign Ministers in Dushanbe on Tuesday.
He noted that it is the time to tune up cooperation between the OIC and OSCE.
"Besides, the topical issues of security and confidence-building measures on the Asian continent are discussed within the framework of the CICA initiated by Kazakhstan", he said.
