Officials and deputies to be released from customs clearance while crossing borders of CU member states

ASTANA. June 23. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ - Draft bill 'Agreement on exemption of application of certain forms of customs control by the customs bodies of the Customs Union member states' was approved at the plenary sitting of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament.
'According to the Agreement, personal baggage of the Secretary of State-Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Head of Presidential Administration, Chairman of the Constitutional Council, Chairman of the Supreme Court, Prosecutor General, Chairman of the National Bank, Chairman of the National Security Committee, Chief of the Presidential Security Service and deputies of the Parliament of Kazakhstan is released from customs clearance while crossing borders between the CU member states under performance of official duties or deputy powers', Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Bolat Zhamishev said representing the bill.
