OECD presented Kazakhstan's investment policy review

Kazakhstan progressed in attraction of investments. We see the increasing diversification of Kazakhstan's economy and that is one of the Government's initiatives within the framework of the economic policy," Director of OECD Investment Division Stephen Thomsen noted at a press conference in Astana.

According to him, Kazakhstan has less restrictions on foreign direct investments than Russia, but more than it is envisaged by the OECD standards. Kazakhstan has a good position in the Cost-of -Doing- Business Index which is measured by the World Bank annually.
