OCA President: Kazakhstan showed its readiness to host competitions of higher level

According to him, the infrastructure of the Asiad-2011 is great; the sports facilities meet all international standards. "The organizers have created a wonderful atmosphere for the sportsmen to achieve high results. The Games are held at the highest level, but the most important thing is that the Central Asia turns into an active region in sports movement. To my mind, the level of the Games will grow in future", Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah noted and expressed his gratitude to the organizers, journalists and volunteers "without whom organization of the Asiad-2011 would be impossible".

The OCA President also added that the Games were organized in a difficult period - the period of economic crisis. "Both the Government and the President of Kazakhstan have exerted every effort to make the Asiad an unforgettable event, to make it a success", he stressed.
