The opinion of public organizations, perhaps, will be considered, Sat Tokpakbayev, member of the Majilis, says. «Closing a website is one thing, but closing the internet is something else, therefore I also believe that it is impossible to do it in the current situation. Perhaps, that is why the President will put a veto. I believe the bill of internet regulation should be reviewed», - the Majilis member commented in an interview to journalists.

Ural Mukhamedzhanov, the Parliament's lower house chairman was asked how he estimates the chances of setting a veto on the internet bill.  In reply he said «it is difficult to answer for the President.»

As earlier reported, 12 nongovernmental journalist organizations addressed to the President with a request to set a veto on the law controlling the internet. It is said in the address that "the amendments passed by the Senate will impair the image of Kazakhstan as a flagman of democratic reformations in Central Asia on the threshold of the chairmanship at the OSCE ». The OSCE also calls the President not to sign these amendments  as "this bill in its entirety will restrict the freedom of word».
