Nursultan Nazarbayev to meet with President of Swiss Confederation

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The president's press service has published the list of upcoming events with the participation of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev.

On November 20 Nursultan Nazarbayev is set to meet with his counterpart President of Swiss Confederation Didier Burkhalter who will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan next week. Switzerland is an important political and economic partner of Kazakhstan in Europe. In this context the heads of state will discuss the key issues of strengthening of Kazakhstani-Swiss relations. Utmost attention will be paid to the development of commercial and economic, investment and cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Didier Burkhalter is the current Chairperson-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Taking into account that Kazakhstan chaired the OSCE in 2010, the sides will exchange views on basic directions of the organization's current activities.
