Nursultan Nazarbayev to attend opening ceremony of Winter Olympics in Sochi

ASTANA. December 19. KAZINFORM Foreign Affairs Minister of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov was quoted Thursday as saying that President Nursultan Nazarbayev plans to attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
According to official Twitter account of the Kazakh MFA, "the Head of State plans to participate in the opening ceremony of the 2013 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi."
The opening ceremony of the Games is set to take place at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in the Russian resort city of Sochi on February 7, 2014 and to start at 20:14 p.m. Moscow time. This time slot was chosen as the symbol of the year Russia hosts the first ever Winter Olympics Games in its history.
