Nursultan Nazarbayev: Situation in world complicates test that Kazakhstan should withstand

ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The current situation in the world complicates the test, which Kazakhstan should withstand as the OSCE chair-country. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public in his address at the inaugural meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna.

"Erosion of the regime of proliferation mass destruction weapons, terrorism, humanitarian and environmental catastrophes, hunger, poverty, epidemics, energy resources reduction, interethnic and interfaith conflicts - this is not a full list of challenges of the temporary human civilization, struggle against which requires efforts from such authoritative multilateral institutions like the OSCE", the President said. He noted that as a result of the world financial-economic crisis the global world holds tectonic moves, and this process is not yet completed.
The Kazakh President emphasized, that the most topical problems have always been a priority of the country's foreign policy.
