Nursultan Nazarbayev meets participants of ‘My country. From the Caspian to Altai’ ethnographic expedition (PHOTO)

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev in Aktau has met with members of the automotive ethnographic expedition called "My country. From the Caspian to Altai", the press service of Akorda reported.

Nursultan Nazarbayev wished the participants of the expedition good luck noting the importance of such initiatives which strengthen patriotism and develop tourism potential of the country. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the region's youth including "Bolashak" scholarship holders, students of "Nazarbayev University", members of the state program "With diploma to a village", leaders of youth associations, representatives of ethnic and cultural centers, winners of international sports competitions, young culture and science figures. Expedition "My country. From the Caspian to Altai" is composed of 20 people including an ethnographer, a blogger, journalists and photographers. For nearly two months five cars assembled in Kazakhstan will travel throughout the country. After the expedition it is planned to prepare and release a documentary and a photo book.
