Nursultan Nazarbayev makes speech at festive concert in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made a speech at the festive concert themed "One Homeland! One Destiny! One leader!" dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Astana cycle track "Saryarka" is holding the gala concert. Nursultan Nazarbayev reminded that 23 years ago, on December 1, 1991 he was re-elected as the President of the Kazakh SSR at the first nationwide elections receiving 98,7% of votes. This historic event gave occasion to choosing December 1 as the Day of the first President. The President noted that in the short, by historical standards, period of time Kazakhstan has become the strong state, known around the world.
