Nursultan Nazarbayev lays flowers at Eternal Flame in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev opened the solemn ceremony of laying Garlands of Glory at the monument to the Defenders of the Motherland in Astana.
The ceremony was attended by MPs, Cabinet Ministers, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and ordinary citizens.
Participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the soldiers who died in the battlefields.
