Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulates Hassan Rouhani on his election as President of Iran

ASTANA. June 17. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram of congratulations to Hassan Rouhani elected as the new President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, president's press service reports.
In his congratulatory message, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that by exercising their votes and supporting Hassan Rouhani, people of Iran have demonstrated they put their trust in his political and economic reforms.
"I am confident under your leadership Iran will embark on a new stage in its development," the message reads.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also expressed confidence that relationships between Kazakhstan and Iran based on friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation will develop in future.
"I would like to take this opportunity to wish you good health and success in your new appointment and to people of Iran - peace and happiness," the telegram concludes.
