Nursultan Nazarbayev chaired the National Fund Management Council meeting

The meeting focused on the pressing issues concerning further development and raising efficiency of the National Fund management.

As the Head of State noted, during the crisis the National Fund means were channeled to the realization of anti-crisis measures and ensuring the socioeconomic stability in the country.

"Development of my Address to the Nation, serious tasks for the country's further development and social modernization require certain expenditure. That's why we have formed the National Fund. One part of the Fund is meant for the future generations, another for transfers and today's economic development. Large project such as construction of railways, a gas pipeline, available housing issues, employment program, but for the budget means, need extra funds to have them implemented," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
